Ayamase (pronounced ‘ha-yah-ma-shay’) is a blended mixture of green peppers and chillies fried in palm oil and ‘iru’ (fermented melon seeds). It also comes with small chunks of beef, cow foot and tripe. This is traditionally served with ofada rice but can also be enjoyed with any other rice dish. It is delivered in BPA-free food bowls ready to go directly in the fridge or freezer, or simply heat and eat!
